Chilling down a beer doesn't take long at all on the dark side of the moon, where the temperature can plummet to a frosty minus 253 F. Better keep it in a koozie on the lunar light side, though, where the mercury can soar to a scorching 253 degrees.

National Drink Beer Day Sept. 28
We kid you not--a declaration day to...wait for it...drink beer! Not that there's anything wrong with the other 364, and that a special day dedicated to drinking your favorite fermented beverage is needed as an excuse to, you know, drink your favorite fermented beverage, but who are we to argue with a such a noble national declaration day of celebration. True, there are so many beers and oh so few brain cells, but it's not rocket science, it's beer for crying out loud, so use the flimsiest of excuses, such as, "Hey, it's National Drink Beer Day today!" and drink beer today.

Think globally, drink locally.
