Ninkasi is taking its brewing to a new level--outer space. Fermented with yeast that survived the rigors of space travel, Ground Control Stout is the first product of the Ninkasi Space Program. Apollo, Bravo, and Comet hops were used to make the beer, as well as yeast that journeyed 77 miles into space aboard a private rocket and returned safely home to earth. The 10% ABV, 80 IBU beer in 22 oz. bottles will be released for the first time today. Mission accomplished!
