The Oregon Brewshed Alliance and the Oregon Environmental Council have teamed up with craft breweries across the state for a weekend-long fundraising campaign for water quality and conservation! The best part? Drink delicious, local craft beer near you to participate.

What better way to raise awareness and funds for water conservation than over a pint? Oregon Wild and Oregon Environmental Council have teamed up with local craft breweries for this weekend-long benefit. Participating breweries will be donating a portion of their proceeds on January 30-31 in support of the water quality and conservation work of our two environmental organizations.

Why? Water is life, and Oregonians consistently rank it as a top environmental priority. Oregon has more rivers designated as wild and scenic than any other state. People travel from across the nation to raft our wild waters and fish for salmon or trout. We depend on clean and plentiful water as does our wildlife and local businesses, especially craft breweries. Yet our rivers, lakes, and wetlands are at risk.

You can make a difference. Take your friends for a pint at a local brewery on January 30 or 31 on the Weekend for Water. A portion of proceeds will go to support watershed protection and the water quality required for crafting exceptional Oregon beer.

Ninkasi Brewing in Eugene will kick off the event with a special Pints for a Cause on Thursday, January 28 from 12-9pm. So raise a glass and support water and watershed conservation by visiting the following participating breweries near you during this last weekend of January (ask at each location for details on how you can support Weekend for Water):
